Polish Biogas Investments (PBIS)
Polish Biogas Investments (PBIS) has been established to invest funds into the Polish biogas and biomethane market . PBIS is a Polish joint-stock company established by GHJ Biogas (t/a Rika Biotech) and Swen Impact Fund for Transition 2 (SWIFT 2).
SWIFT’s mission is to contribute to the decarbonisation of the gas sector, which represents 25% of the energy consumed in Europe, and to deploy investments in France, Europe and the rest of the world, through its strategic vision, its financing capabilities and the skills of its teams
Green Technology
Rika Biotech is a multi-disciplinary project development and green technology business. Alongside its core business as biomethane and BioLNG developers and funders, Rika also provide technologies that maximize resource use efficiency in the agriculture, waste and transport sectors.
Investment
PBIS’ first activity in the Polish market is to buy a 50% stake in Polish biomethane developer Enricom Biogas and to provide equity funding for the development and construction of a substantial portfolio of its projects.
